I was born in France on January, 16th 1983. I'm half French (mother), half Chinese (father). I live in Belgium and work as a graphic designer. During my spare time, I enjoy hanging out, making graphics, webdesigning, drawing or playing video games.

Frequently Asked Questions
- What is the beautiful piano song played in the FLASH introduction of your site?
- The background music is "Final Fantasy X-2"'s "Eternity ~Memory of Lightwaves~".

- Why did you make a shrine to Yuna?
- The main reason is that I always wanted to make a "Final Fantasy" character tribute. However, I wasn't interested in making a bunch of crappy shrines and was waiting for the good character to come. I wanted to make something in-depth and comprehensive with intelligent writings and researches. Yuna was interesting in many different ways: her personality, her look, her history. The more I was learning about her, the more I was becoming fascinated. Hence I tried to create a very complete site by focusing all my work on the character itself and all the things which were revolving around.

- Why did you make it before playing the game?
- I still don't know if it was a bad idea or not. For quite a long time, I thought my site was premature; but as you can see, it has now really evolved and is full of relevant information and media you cannot find elsewhere... at least it would be if some people were not stealing this site. Since I've started to work early on it, it's normal that it has become what it is today. I think it couldn't have been so complete today if I had waited to play the game before.

- Which version did you play?
- I played (and completed) the European version of "Final Fantasy X" but my information was first based on the Japanese version. Knowing the differences between each version has been really interesting for my site.

- There are weird writings on some of your pages, is it normal?
- Those "weird writings" are words that I wrote in Japanese. You need to install the Japanese font on your computer to read them properly. PC users can download it at Microsoft's website. It should be read properly by default under MAC though.

- I don't understand how your site title "Water Nymph" fits Yuna.
- Unlike most of the other characters shrines, I wanted an original title without princess, goddess or summoner over-used words in it. Actually, it's a friend of mine who suggested this title to me and I found it very accurate to Yuna. Indeed, nymphs were an important part of Greek mythology and religion. They were revered as spirits of specific natural features (mountains, rivers, trees...). The name "nymph" comes from the Greek word that means "young woman", and so naturally these beings were considered to be female. They were represented as lovely and eternally youthful creatures. The water nymphs were also called naiades and presided over rivers, streams, brooks, springs, fountains, lakes, ponds, wells, and marshes. Interested? Then visit Mythography!
